The 军事 Connection Center (MCC) hosts several programs and events to assist military-affiliated students navigate their college experience. In addition to these programs and events, we also celebrate all of the branches birthdays and observe remembrance days.

This peer support program connects current student 退伍军人 trained as Peer Advisors with incoming student 退伍军人 to help them navigate college life, address challenges they may face, refer them to appropriate resources on and off-campus, and provide ongoing support.

In addition to the benefits you already receive, the work-study program is a VA education benefit offered to military affiliated students working towards a college degree. Earn while you learn!

Every fall and spring semesters we celebrate graduating 服务 members, 退伍军人, 预备役人员, and national guard members. 研究生s receive a red, white, and blue graduation cord to wear for commencement.

To expand our ODU military community, the MCC is connecting with ODU faculty and staff who are 退伍军人. Together, we hope to create a welcoming, equitable and supportive campus community.
